City-County Partnership
Buzzline is an innovative partnership between the City of Sanford and Lee County, supported by the N.C. Department of Transportation’s Integrated Mobility Division and the Institute for Transportation Research and Education. This is the first City-County microtransit partnership in North Carolina.
The pilot program is funded through NCDOT's Mobility for Everyone, Everywhere in NC (MEE NC) Grant and is administered by COLTS Transportation.
The initiative is guided by a Microtransit Advisory Board comprised of stakeholders from the local government, education, commercial, and industrial sectors.
