Need a new vehicle? How about office equipment, a mower, or a backhoe? The City of Sanford has you covered.
Starting at 8:00 a.m. on May 29, 2023, the City will have a variety of surplus vehicles and equipment available for auction on GovDeals.com, a site that allows government agencies to sell surplus items to the public. Item prices range from big ticket like an SUV and a tractor to next-to-nothing.
All City of Sanford auctions will end at 8:00 p.m. on June 8, 2023. Sanford City Council reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
See What We're Selling
You can get item photos and descriptions, as well as place your bid, by going to www.govdeals.com/sanfordnc. Buyers will need to register with the site before placing any bids.
Available items will not appear until the auctions begin.
Payment & Pick Up
Winning bidders will have five business days to make payment. Paypal or credit cards are accepted for items less than $5,000. Items that cost more than $5,000 must be paid by wire transfer.
After payment is made, winning bidders must schedule a time to pick up items. All items must be removed from City property within 10 days of payment.
