The public shall take notice that Sanford City Council will hold its regular monthly meeting on Tuesday, February 15, 2022, in Council Chambers at the Sanford Municipal Center, located at 225 E. Weatherspoon Street in Sanford. The meeting will begin at 6:00 p.m.
View the meeting agenda here. The Sanford/Lee County Planning Department will hold three public hearings. The first public hearing is an annexation request for property with frontage on Lower Moncure Road and Colon Road, which (if the property is annexed into the corporate City limits) will be followed by a second public hearing for a rezoning request to assign a new zoning district to the land. The third public hearing is for a rezoning request for property with frontage on Tramway Road/W. Main Street.
