Sanford City Council will hold its regularly scheduled meeting on Tuesday, October 5, 2021, at 6:00 p.m. The meeting will be held in Council Chambers at the Sanford Municipal Center, located at 225 E. Weatherspoon Street in Sanford.
The agenda includes a proclamation recognizing the 76th anniversary of National Disability Employment Awareness Month and a presentation by the Sanford Police Department on receiving accreditation through the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies (CALEA).
Council will also consider an ordinance to establish new electoral wards within Sanford's city limits. The ordinance will establish Plan A as the new ward boundaries based on the 2020 Census. View the plan here.
