The public shall take notice that a Joint Interlocal Committee workshop will be held on Tuesday, March 30, 2021 at the Dennis Wicker Civic Center, located at 1801 Nash Street in Sanford. The workshop will begin at 6:00 p.m.
The Joint Interlocal Committee consists of the City Manager and three members of the Sanford City Council; the County Manager and three members of the Lee County Board of Commissioners; and the Town Manager and two members of the Broadway Town Council.
The purpose of the workshop is to provide information to those boards about proposed changes to the Unified Development Ordinance (UDO) to ensure compliance with North Carolina statute Chapter 160D, Local Planning and Development Regulation.
The workshop will be held in the Exhibition Hall. Members of the public may attend this meeting in person; however, social distancing measures will be observed and masks must be worn.
