The City of Sanford’s administrative offices will be closed on December 24 and December 25, 2020 for Christmas and January 1, 2021 for New Year’s Day.
The City of Sanford will not collect leaves, limbs, and bulk trash on these days. City crews will work to complete their routes during regular operating hours.
Waste Industries will be closed on December 25, 2020 for Christmas and January 1, 2021 for New Year’s Day. Their crews will collect waste and recycling for those pickup days on December 26, 2020 and January 2, 2021.
As a reminder, the City’s customer service department is currently operating on a modified schedule of 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Customer service representatives are available by phone from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
All other departments are available by appointment only. The Sanford Police Department remains open to the public for emergencies.
