The public shall take note that Sanford City Council will hold its regular meeting on Tuesday, March 4, 2025, in Council Chambers of the Sanford Municipal Center beginning at 5:00 p.m.
The meeting includes the review of two voluntary annexation petitions: a contiguous annexation request for approximately 18.736 acres owned by Harkey Road Developers, LLC, and a non-contiguous annexation request for approximately 10.086 acres owned by DRB Group North Carolina, LLC. Cases for public hearing will begin at 6:00 p.m. Parties interested in speaking at a public hearing must register in advance. Registration begins outside of Council Chambers starting at 5:00 p.m. All speakers must be registered by 5:50 p.m.
Those who would like to make a public comment should sign up with the City Clerk by 4:50 p.m. The meeting will end with a closed session.
