The May 14, 2024, Sanford Board of Adjustment meeting has been cancelled.
The purpose of the meeting was to hold a public hearing to consider a Special Use Permit application. However, the required number of board members able to attend does not meet the threshold established by the board’s bylaws.
The Special Use Permit public hearing has been tentatively rescheduled for the next Sanford Board of Adjustment meeting, which is June 11, 2024. Meetings are held at 6pm.
Due to the amount of interest in this case, the meeting will take place in Council Chambers at the Sanford Municipal Center, located at 225 E. Weatherspoon Street. A notice with more information will be published in advance of the meeting.
