Electronic Meetings

Due to continued high cases of COVID-19, Sanford City Council may hold some meetings electronically.

Notice of an electronic meeting will be published at least 48 business hours before the meeting. An agenda for that meeting will also be published.

How to Access Meetings



Electronic meetings are only accessible by phone for the public – not by computer or mobile app.

To listen in, the public can call the phone number and enter the identification number assigned to each meeting. This information is shared in meeting notices, in the calendar item for each meeting, and via our media outlets.

Public Comments



The public can submit comments for regularly scheduled meetings held electronically.

Public comments must be coordinated through Deputy City Clerk Vicki Cannady at 919-777-1112 or vicki.cannady@sanfordnc.net by 1:00 p.m. on the day of the meeting.
