The City of Sanford's only splash pad is located at Kiwanis Family Park. The splash pad is free to use.

There are benches and picnic tables in the splash pad area. There is also a grassy, shaded area where visitors can sit on their own blankets, towels, or portable chairs.

Some things to know before you go:

  • Check the current weather at the splash pad via the weather station here.
  • Children who are not toilet trained must wear a swim diaper.
  • Water shoes or sandals are strongly encouraged.

The gravel walking trails, existing Kiwanis Club picnic shelter, uncovered picnic tables, gazebo, and side parking lot remain under the ownership and management of Lee County Parks and Recreation

Reservations for the Kiwanis Club picnic shelter must be made through the Lee County Parks and Recreation registration system. Reserving the Lee County shelter does not also reserve the City's shelter.
