Employment Process for Police Officers
The City of Sanford continuously accepts applications for the sworn Police Officer applicant pool. We invite applicants to submit an application to the Human Resources office to be considered for any sworn Police Officer openings that may occur throughout the year.
Information regarding the requirements can be found under the Basic Qualifications and Requirements for Employment section. A North Carolina Criminal Justice Education and Training Standards Commission Personal History Statement (F-3) must be completed and can be emailed to email@example.com, mailed, or returned in person to the City of Sanford Human Resources department at 225 East Weatherspoon Street, Sanford, NC 27330.

The City of Sanford accepts employment applications (F-3’s) at any time throughout the year for Police Officer. The employment application (F-3) is then forwarded to the police department for review and consideration.
