At the May 23, 2023, regular meeting of the Sanford City Council, City Manager Hal Hegwer presented the proposed municipal budget for the upcoming fiscal year.

Next Steps
Sanford City Council will hold a budget work session on Tuesday, May 30, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. in the West End Conference Room of the Sanford Municipal Center, located at 225 E. Weatherspoon Street. Based on the workshop, the budget as proposed may be amended.
There will be a public hearing at the Tuesday, June 6, 2023, regular Sanford City Council meeting. At this hearing, which will begin at 6:00 p.m., the public is invited to ask questions and provide feedback. Following the public hearing, Council will vote on whether to adopt the budget as-is or make further amendments.
All meetings are open to the public, though only the public hearing offers the public an opportunity to address the board.
