The City of Sanford Water Utilities Division is responsible for performing system maintenance on the Sanford/Lee County Water Distribution System and providing an adequate clean and safe water supply to Sanford and Lee County.

The water system consists of three different districts.  These districts have a total of over 338 miles of water mains and provide water services to approximately 13,549 people in Lee County.

The Water Utilities Division has been very successful in its operations and is continually developing ways of improving its efficiency and service to the citizens of Sanford and Lee County.

The City of Sanford Water Utilities Division is available 24 hours a day for service should you have any trouble.
