Leaf & Limb Collection

Year-round leaf and limb collection service to city residents. Leaves and limbs must be separated from each other and placed in separate piles at curbside. They must be loose and not bagged. The leaf and limb schedule for each area of the city is on a map. Leaf and Limb collection is every week during the peak season, November - January, after January it reduces to an as needed basis.  Citizens can call the Public Works Service Center at 775-8247 for this information.

Bulk Trash Pickup

Offered to residents once/weekly on the same day as their leaf/limb pickup schedule. Bulk trash includes items too bulky to fit in the garbage can such as furniture and appliances. Bulk items should be left at curbside. Remodeling and construction debris is not considered bulk trash. Citizens can call the Public Works Service Center at 775-8247 for more information.

Tire & Battery Pickup

A tire and battery pickup to residents is available twice annually, once in the spring and again in the fall. For more information, please call the Public Works Service Center at 775-8247.

Wood Chips & Compost

The City operates its own compost facility behind the Public Works Service Center. Quality wood chips and compost are offered at a reasonable price to the public. For further information, see Rate Schedule or call the Public Works Service Center at 775-8247.

Solid Waste Fee

City residents pay a $100 solid waste fee annually. This fee helps subsidize the yard waste cost and garbage cost as well as the cost of the operation of the compost facility.
