Employment Application Process
The
City of Sanford only accepts applications for current vacancies. Information
about our application process is provided below.
1.
Applications are received for current vacancies through the closing
date.
2.
Applications that meet minimum qualifications are referred to the hiring
supervisors for their review.
3.
Applicants that are not referred are notified by mail by Human Resources
that they are no longer being considered for the vacancy.
4.
Hiring supervisor(s) conduct the interview process. When they have
completed the interview process, Human Resources is notified of the selection
and an offer is made.
5.
Human Resources notifies each applicant that was interviewed that the
job was offered and accepted by another applicant.
