The material from yard waste is either composted or
ground into woodchips at the City’s
Compost Facility as a recycling program.
The material is then sold back to the public at very
reasonable rates.
Leaf Pickup
Leaf, grass clippings, and pine straw are picked up
city wide once weekly throughout the year.
Leaves should be separated from other waste and placed
within the right-of-way.
Leaves are NOT picked up from vacant lots.
Limb Pickup
Limb service is available city wide once weekly throughout
the year.
Limb trucks run daily throughout the year on five
routes.
Limbs can be no longer than 5 to 6 feet and 6 cubic
yard limit per household.
Limbs must be separated from other waste and leaves.
Limbs must be placed at the right-of-way.
Limbs are NOT picked up from vacant lots or as a result
of contractor work.
