| Once weekly
residential collection of bulk trash at the curbside.
Bulk trash includes items too bulky to fit in the garbage
can such as furniture and appliances. Bulk items should
be left at curbside or right-of way. Items must be placed
into separate piles; for example, metal, wood, appliances,
tires, etc. Remodeling and construction debris is not
considered bulk trash. City ordinance forbids pickup
of hazardous materials, any liquids, & paint. Paint
cans must be empty, dry, and filled with sand or dirt.
A tire and battery pickup to residents is available
twice annually, once in the spring and again in the
fall. For more information, please call the Public Works
Service Center at (919) 775-8247.
