[ARCHIVED] Kiwanis Family Park Renovation Update

Construction on the Kiwanis Family Park renovation is progressing, with crews preparing to install a new, inclusive playground and modernized bathrooms.

Kiwanis Family Park remains open; however, the old park playground has been removed. The existing bathroom facility will be removed next week. Portable toilets will be placed on the site for those who continue to use the park’s trails and fitness equipment.

Park visitors will be able to use the main park entrance and existing trails. Parking will be limited and access to the construction area will be restricted.

The renovation is part of the City’s plan to add a splash pad, inclusive park, trail, and increased parking at Kiwanis Family Park. The anticipated completion is slated for this summer. Follow the progress on our website at
