Sanford City government consists of the following departments, all of which report to the City Manager:  Legal, Administration, Clerk, Information Systems, Finance, Budget, Community Development, Emergency Services, Fire, Police, Human Resources, Golf, Inspections, Public Works, Revenue, Sewer Plant, and Water Plant.
